Shore Power and Frequency Converters
Shore power and frequency converters automatically adjust the onshore network to match the onboard system, regardless of the shore voltage or frequency. These systems enable seamless transfers between shore power and onboard generators. For a brief period, the transformer can operate alongside the onboard generators, ensuring a smooth transition. Once connected, the generators can shut down automatically, allowing the shore transformer to supply electrical power. This reduces fuel consumption, conserves resources, and minimizes noise and environmental pollution from running generators.
FREQUENCY CONVERTER
A frequency converter provides the perfect solution for converting existing grid frequencies to the customer’s required output. These devices are known for their low operating costs, compact design, and high efficiency. They also include advanced monitoring and diagnostic systems to keep operators informed about the system’s status.
FREQUENCY CONVERTER WITH HIGH EFFICIENCY DUE TO IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Our frequency converters offer single-phase outputs ranging from 10 kVA to 20 kVA and three-phase outputs from 10 kVA to 600 kVA. Standard models come with 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequencies, but customized versions are available.
Designed for challenging conditions, these systems offer an excellent sine wave output and optimal control, even during a 100% load change. The integrated microprocessor and digital technology detect malfunctions early, ensuring high reliability. The IGBT technology in the power amplifier ensures efficiency levels between 92% and 96%.
ONLINE SYSTEMS WITH DOUBLE CONVERTER TECHNOLOGY
These frequency converters feature double converter technology and include a PFC rectifier that offers superior voltage control, even with highly unbalanced loads. They come with RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces for monitoring and remote display. All devices meet European standards for system interference, radio suppression, and EMC compliance.
HIGH OPERATOR CONVENIENCE AND EASY TO SERVICE
The user-friendly control panel allows for simple system operation and easy configuration through a menu-driven display. The LCD monitor clearly shows measurement values, alerts, and status messages. For easy servicing, main components are accessible from the front.
HIGH FLEXIBILITY FOR LABORATORIES
Frequency converters allow users to adjust output voltages via the display, making them ideal for test laboratories with varying voltage and frequency requirements.
SHORE POWER CONVERTOR
Voltages and frequencies vary greatly around the world, posing challenges for boat owners during docking periods. Since on-board networks are often incompatible with local mains, generators must run continuously while docked. This is noisy, expensive, and harmful to the environment.
Our shore power converters connect local networks to onboard systems and switch power supplies seamlessly and synchronously. By eliminating the need for generators, the system saves fuel, reduces noise, and conserves resources.
MARINE POWER CONVERTOR
Marine power converters handle diverse electrical systems in boats and ships, adjusting to the harsh marine environment. They manage power sources such as shore power, generators, solar panels, and batteries, adapting to different voltage and frequency standards (e.g., 12V, 24V DC, 110V, or 230V AC). These converters ensure high-quality power for sensitive electronics, emphasizing efficiency to reduce heat and conserve energy.
AVOIDANCE OF POLLUTION PROBLEMS
Due to global differences in mains voltage and frequency, yacht owners face significant challenges during port stays. For instance, European-standard onboard systems cannot connect to US grids. Without a power converter, yachts must rely on their generators even in port, resulting in noise, pollution, and fuel consumption. The power converter automatically adjusts the shore grid to match the onboard system, providing a seamless transfer to shore power.
